Relax and enjoy
We are a family who have stayed in Florida many times, initially, as most families do, at a hotel. Hotels are OK, if you and your family get on well enough to be in the same room and if your children are prepared to sleep with the noise of the television/coffee maker/microwave going. Oh and I forgot to mention, share a bed!! Now compare that to sharing a three bedroom, two bathroom home, that is closer to Disney than Orlando! Having space, two televisions on cable(less arguing!), plenty of beds and with up to 6 people sharing for the same price, a cheaper, more relaxing Florida alternative to hotels! This is an all mod-cons home, bed linen and towels are supplied free of charge. The kitchen is fully equipped. Our children love the fridge that makes ice and the 'garbage' disposal system. The kitchen also boasts a superb laundry area, whilst not high on your list of activities, you can wash and dry a full load in less than 30 minutes - ideal when you return from the theme parks. We have even provided games in case you have a spare minute to fill!
What do you get?
The master bedroom has an en-suite bathroom and boasts a huge king-size bed (UK-Superking) The second bathroom is situated between bedroom 2 - full bed (UK Double) and bedroom 3 - twin. Both bathrooms have a shower and bath. The master bedroom also has a television.
The lounge area has television, video, DVD, sound system and loads more! The dining area has a large table with plenty of room for 6 and the kitchen is roomy enough for little helpers to assist with loading the dishwasher etc! Or leave them to it and enjoy a cold beer or glass on wine outside in the fully screened patio area, whilst watching the sunset!
The community
We think we have found the BEST place to stay in Florida for the ideal holiday! Palm Key is away from the bustle, but that means you choose when you want it to be more lively! Disney is about 15 minutes away, SeaWorld about 20 minutes and Universal around 25 minutes. Shopping is a must and the Premier Shopping Outlet is the nearest situated at the south of International Drive and around a 20 min drive. A trip to the US would not be complete without a visit to Walmart, again 15 mins away. The nearest supermarket is Publix, less than 5 mins. Included in the price of your rental are full driving instruction, a useful information leaflet and an on-site managment company. It also includes free, unlimited access to the heated community pool and clubhouse area. This includes sunloungers (no towels at dawn here!) pool table, fitness room tennis court, playground, securely fenced kids pool all at no extra charge!
sleeping :
The villa comprises 3 bedrooms in total; 2 double, 1 twin, 1 of the bedrooms with en-suite facilities. . This gives room for up to 6 people. Bed linen and towels are provided for your use.
general :
The villa has 2 bathrooms and 2 WCs for your party's use. Air-conditioning keeps the villa cool.
entertainment :
The villa has television video, dvd, satellite/cable. The music system will play cassettes, cds, radio. Recreational activities available with the villa include a snooker/pool table.
eating & living :
There is room for 6 in the living room and 6 in the dining room. To prepare food you will find a cooker, an oven, a microwave, a fridge, a freezer, a kettle, a toaster. You will also find a dish washer, a washing machine, a clothes drier, an iron and ironing board. The owner has also provided cutlery, crockery, glassware, cooking utensils.
