When , in the 1870’s, the city moved out into the Eixample it left behind a 14th century time capsule, the most extensive Gothic city centre in the world. It is home to Barcelona’s most authentic tapas bars, lively restaurants, historical museums and the Ajuntament - the national parliament of Catalunya.

Just 5 minues from the Ramblas and seafront, and 3 minutes from the metro station, it would be hard to find a better location from which to explore the city of Barcelona.
