Good bus service to the east- (Sitia 50 km) and west side (Ierapetra 8 km).
This quiet place is a good base, to discover the beautiful and impressive east part of Crete, by public buses, car or by foot.
Daytrips to, for example, Kato Zakros, Vai, Kritsa, Lasithi Plateau, Spinalonga or the island for the south coast, Chrissie and Koufonisi.
The old cities, Ierapetra, Sitia and Agios Nicolaos, for a visit to the museum, market or other places of interest.
Small fishing - and mountain villages with a friendly population.
Walking trips or trips by car (jeep), with our guide, in the mountains, to caves.
