The property:

Villa Kairos is a modern waterfront villa on the Dalmatian Coast of Croatia set in a sunny west-facing position and away from any traffic noise providing for a peaceful and picturesque setting. The fully air-conditioned villa is split into three apartments with two available to rent together comfortably accommodating up to eight people. The property is very well kept and everything carefully thought through to ensure a thoroughly enjoyable stay. Two tandem kayaks as well as two mountain bikes are there for you to enjoy exploring the island and take the binoculars with you to further enjoy the views!

The grounds:

The grounds encompass 500sq/m of gardens and paved areas which give direct access to the beach as well as a small boat jetty. There are many different areas to put your feet up and relax including cushioned sun-lounges on the large balcony with panoramic sea-views, garden sun-loungers, 3-person swing chair and the 2 person hammock. There are two outdoor 8-seater dining areas with one being located on the patio and the other in the waterfront garden. These can both be shaded from the sun and are great to enjoy while cooking on the traditional stone BBQ. A waterfront shower in marble stone with an oversized rain-style shower head is located in the garden which is great for rinsing off after a dip in the sea.

The units:

Villa Kairos I is a three bedroom apartment occupying the entire first floor of the villa. The air-conditioned and spacious living room with sea views provides a dining table, sofas, fireplace with firewood, HDTV with DVD player, stereo system and CD & DVD libraries. The fully integrated kitchen is entered off of the living room and includes a washing machine/dryer, dishwasher and tea & coffee making facilities. The hallway leads to three fully air-conditioned bedrooms and a bathroom.

Villa Kairos II is a self-contained studio apartment on the ground floor entered off the patio dining area. The air-conditioned studio room features a king-sized bed, dining table for two, HiFi system and ample cupboard space. On the HDTV you can enjoy various channels or a movie from the DVD library. The separate kitchenette includes tea and coffee making facilities and the bathroom includes basic toiletries.

Location:
Villa Kairos is located in Okrug Gornji on the Island of Ciovo which is connected to the mainland via a bridge. The village of Okrug Gornji is a short walk by foot and offers supermarkets, cafes, restaurants, a pharmacy, doctor, dentist, post office, bank, hairdresser and bakery. 200 meters along the beachfront from Villa Kairos begins a long stretch of beach know as the Okrug Gornji Riviera. Dotted along this beach are cafes, bars, restaurants...a great place to watch the sunset. At the point where the Riviera starts is also a small marina from which a boat shuttle runs to and from Trogir every 15 minutes from early morning until midnight which is a novel and enjoyable way to get to and from Trogir. Alternatively, you can drive 3.5km to Trogir where you will find plenty of parking. Trogir is reputedly the most picturesque town on the Dalmatian Coast and a Unesco Heritage Town. It boasts a world class marina, beautiful buildings, forts, cathedrals, and plenty of restaurants, bars and shops.

Villa Kairos is also conveniently only 10km from Split Airport however, not under the flight path.

With so many different choices of things to do in and around the area there's something for everyone......enjoy lazing on the beach directly in front of the villa, explore ancient Trogir and Split (both Unesco), drive the scenic coast to Makarska or Primosten, taking a ferry boat or private boat to Hvar/Brac/Solta Islands and the Blue Caves, wreck dive, jet ski, water-ski, quad bike Ciovo, swim in the waterfalls of Krka National Park or enjoy some wine-tasting at a local vineyard. You can also explore Ciovo Island using the two bicycles and two tandem kayaks of Villa Kairos.
