Vancouver International Backpackers Hostel

Not far from downtown area, Vancouver International Backpackers Hostel is within walking distance to Chinatown, museums, shops, nightlife and just steps away from Vancouver 2010 Olympic Village.

We are located one block north from the Main Street/Science World skytrain station. You can get here by buses No. 3 and 16. Vancouver's main Bus Depot and Railway Station are situated across the street about 200 meters away. We provide free shuttle service to the Bus Depot and downtown. A shuttle service to and from the airport can be arranged for guests upon request for a fee.

We are in the same location since 1985 and we have garnered a reputation as an international hostel with a safe, clean and friendly environment. Since taking over of the 1926 Heritage Building the interior of the hostel has been renovated and the face lift of the exterior is coming soon.

The Hostel is simply furnished but spotless, clean, safe and comfortable. Our friendly, well trained, international staff is happy to assist you in English, French, German, Spanish, Portuguese, Korean, Farsi and Turkish.
