NEW YORK HOMESTAY, NYC, CLOSE TO PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION
My name is Marlon and I am 33 living in a large home with my mother. We are young at heart and very open minded. My mother is only in her 50’s and very humble. We both enjoy company and are accustomed to having many people around us. It so happens that all my siblings moved on (got married and moved out) and we have a lot of room to spare. We love to go to dinner and we like having dinner parties even more. My mother is a nurse and I am in Business Consulting and Marketing. Our lives are very busy during the day but too relaxed in the evenings. We want to meet new folks and learn about other cultures.
The house is a spacious 2 family home in Westchester NY (only 15min car ride to NYC). I have been in this house over 12yrs and love it. We have 4 floors and the home is completely renovated with a modern feel. The home is always kept clean and comfortable; we have central heating and air conditioning. The rooms are also very spacious. They come equipped with a Bed, closets, computer desk, television, and wireless internet. You will get your own bathroom and your own kitchen but you are welcome to join us every day. The area is very quiet and the neighbors are great. We are very close to public transportation and shops. We have a lot of yard space and lots of room to relax.
We started the homestay after we decide that we had too much space and wanted to make new friends and learn about new cultures. We started doing the homestay with a few universities and we love it. We have had Japanese, Italians, Korean, Chinese, Turkish, Spanish (Spain), Hungarians, Germans, and Brazilians stay with us. So far we have had many wonderful experiences and look forward to many more with our new Homestay guests; we actually are still in touch with many of our past quests and can get references if needed.
