It is a four-minute walk to 6 train, which goes straight down the East Side of Manhattan, and it is a fifteen-minute ride to all the grand museums on Fifth Avenue (the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the Guggenheim, the Neue Galerie, etc). It is also really convenient to the FDR expressway, the Major Deegan, as well as the I-278 and I-678.
