Our lovely 2BR apartment is located in a full-service, doorman/concierge, 32 story building on the Upper East Side of Manhattan. It is close to Central Park (6 minute walk), the Metropolitan Museum of Art (12 minute walk), the Guggenheim (5 minute walk), The National Design Museum (10 minute walk), world-class shopping and a major subway stop 2 blocks away that gets you anywhere in New York City. There are many, many dozens of cafes and restaurants located nearby offering many different options, just about anything you can imagine.

Our apartment has a master bedroom with a queen bed, an 2nd bedroom/office with a queen-sized futon (comfortably sleeps 2) and a large living room that opens into a dining room with seating up to 6. Unlike many (or most) Manhattan apartments, we have a eat-in kitchen with a large window.

We have a housekeeper who comes bi-weekly and is included in the apartment swap.
In addition, the apartment has a private 1100 square foot terrace attached with fun furniture and grill, an exciting rarity for New York City!

Our building, Claridge House is a full-service building with 24 hour doorman, concierge service and a covered driveway in addition to a rooftop health club that includes a pool, outdoor decks and workout facilities. Claridge House is extremely safe and friendly.

Our apartment is located in a great place to get a "New York City" feel. We are right by Central Park which offers a variety of different sports and activities including hiking, biking, boat riding (as it's right by the lake), horse back riding (in development), a simple stroll in the park, or a day filled with people watching. It is considered a jewel in New York! September and October are the perfect months to be in New York City as the weather is cooling down and the scenery is changing with the color of the leaves.

The residential Upper East Side is the "heart" of cultural New York and our apartment offers a quiet safe-haven in the middle of it all.
