Exchange Zones

I live in the neighborhood Brooklyn Heights, which is super-convenient to Manhattan. It's a 5 minute walk to almost all NY's major trains, and Manhattan is the first or second stop on many of them. Brooklyn Heights is along the waterfront, and is truly one of New York's most beautiful neighborhoods. There are tree-lined cobbled streets, beautiful brownstones, and nice shops & restaurants. Mark Twain, WH Auden, Churchill, and many others have all lived here. The apartment is quiet, safe, and fully equipped: wood floors, living room, kitchen with dishwasher, full bathroom with full-sized tub and shower.

It's a two-bedroom, and you would be living with my housemate, Doan. She's a 35 yr old woman who's a documentary filmmaker. She travels a lot (good chance you'll have the place to yourself much of the time), is interested in the arts, politics, and meditation...She's really open-minded and hip. She was married to an Englishman and has spent many years living in Europe. I think she also speaks some French. The apt. also has one very friendly short-haired cat.
