Hawaii up-country, quiet rural setting, off-grid, 1/2 hour to Hilo, with exceptional Farmer's Market, & picturesque bayfront. Going South, one can visit the Volcano viewing area at the National Part, swim in the ocean side hot pond, or visit Lava Tree State Park. Just 20 miles north of my house is beautiful Waipio Valley. It is 70 minutes to Kona, a premier tourist destination, with many ocean activities, tours, restuarants, etc. My home has 1 BR with queen bed, and futon in LR. It is a simple, clean, cottage style home. It is completely off-grid.

My home is available during a 5 week period when I will be on the mainland. I seek an exchange with someone near the lower Bronx .... I will be attending a workshop at Lincoln Hospital from June 4th or 5th through June 13th or 14th and need a place to stay during that time frame.
