Ft. Lauderdale is a Mid-to Large sized city 40 minutes north of Miami. We have a metro area of about 1 million people and we are the 'county seat' of Broward County - one of the largest counties in the USA. There are many bars/nightclubs/festivals but there is a slower paced, relaxed atmosphere in South Florida similar to the subtropics in many continents, with Latin and Caribbean islands influences. It's beautiful here! We are also sometimes considered the "Venice of the Americas" because of our pretty canals. Without traveling far, the area offers something for everyone from Galleries and Philharmonic concerts in Miami, driving around the houses of the Rich & Famous in West Palm Beach or just relaxing on the sandy beaches of Fort Lauderdale.
The house is comfortably appointed with large kitchen, dining room, living room, TV room, an office, 2 bathrooms, master & guest bedrooms, laundry room and small private patio for enjoying the mornings and evenings outside. We also have central air conditioning, laminate wood floors, and jetted jacuzzi tub. The tv room contains a highspeed cable, wifi, TV, DVD, VCR, and playstation. The house will comfortably sleep up to 4 people with a King, double/queen bed, and a quality double futon in the office.
