We Call our humble home the Lazy R. It's a 5 acre hobby farm with flowers galore, vegetable gardens, and fruit trees. It is 10 minutes to the town of Bellingham, 1 hour to Seattle or Vancouver B.C. We have a hot tub, trampoline, indoor skateramp, above ground pool and recording studio.(you will need your own equipment). We are an hour to the Mount Baker ski area.Our home is nice, clean and comfortable. It is decorated more "cottage" style, as we are not "wealthy"! We have 3 goats, 2 cats and 2 birds that will need to be loved and cared for while we are away. It's a fun and easy job but you must love animals.

My husband Russ and I live in our home with our two teenage sons. Our place is called the Lazy R because 1. We are the Rivieres (hence the R) 2. We like to Laze about. 3. We have a "lazy" river on the property in winter. We like to play music. My husband and sons are in bands, hence the recording/rehearsal studio. They also like to skateboard, hence the ramp in the barn. Our place is homey and geared toward a creative family that likes to kick back.
