Exchange Zones

We have the upstairs of a large duplex, a five minute walk from downtown Asheville. It's a great space, very homey with lots of light and high ceilings. The eat-in kitchen is large with high ceilings. There is a double bed in the master bedroom, a large office with a sofa and our 5 year old daughter's room with a single bed. We use the upstairs loft as a living room and the sofa futon folds down into a decent double bed. The selling point of the house for us, aside from being walking distance to downtown and one block from Green Life (a whole foods market), is a small door, hidden behind the chimney upstairs, which kids have dubbed "The Cave" We covered the floor in black gym mats and hung icicle lights from the ceiling. Even us grownups have been known to sneak up there and enjoy our late night talks and drinks in The Cave. Some house guests (especially teens) have opted to camp there instead of using one of the beds or sofas.
