Arboles and our house sits halfway between Durango (30 minutes away) and Pagosa Springs (30 minutes away) . It's quiet and private. A great place for boating and fishing. Lots of hiking trails close by and other outdoor activities. There are numerous hot springs available for soaking in this area. Archaeological sites abound: Mesa Verde & Chimney Rock. Skiing can be found at Durango Mountain Resort or Wolf Creek both about an hour, and Telluride ski resort is a couple hours away. Durango and Pagosa Springs are great destinations for a day trip.
