Our thatched cottage is a detached 17th century 4 bedroom house in a quiet lane with beautiful views over fields. There is an art studio up the garden, and a music studio with an eco-roof containing a grand piano and harpsichord. There is WiFi a computer and plenty of books.
We're a short walk to the excellent High St of Tisbury with proper local shops, swimming pool, leisure centre & friendly pubs. There's a main-line train station in the village, many wonderful walks & a great number of historically interesting buildings, such as Wardour Castle, Springhead Gardens, Wilton House. Tisbury is 25' from the cathedral city of Salisbury. Bath is 45', and Stonehenge and Longleat Safari Park are also nearby. London is about 2h away by motorway or train. |
