Penrith is a small market town 5 miles from Ullswater lake within the English Lake District. We have a 3 storey sandstone terraced house c 1900 set in a garden square close to town centre. 2 single bedrooms are in the attic but with a proper staircase to them.On the first floor is bathroom and two further double bedrooms.On the ground floor, second bathroom beside kitchen, next to small garden room opening onto small patio for afternoon sunshine.There is a small front garden for morning sun. All local amenities are within a five or ten minute walk.These include all shops,restaurants,cinema,churches and leisure centre.Our lake district has many outdoor activities.Scotland is on the doorstep with Edinburgh being 190km away.Boats to Ireland within 180km. Excellent rail and road links. Car swap possible.
