Travelling will be myself, two children and maybe another adult. We live on a very smallholding of 1 acre with ducks and chickens to care for as well as 2 cats. There are vegetables and flowers and a beautiful garden. The house is close to holiday facilities and only just outside the holiday town of Paignton where there are beaches and plenty of activities. It takes 10 minutes to get to the nearest beach. The house is 10 minutes drive to Elizabethan Totnes and 30 minutes to Roman Exeter and to Plymouth. Dartmoor National Park is close as are lovely coastal walks. There is a regular bus service nearby too. Devon itself is a lovely county of contrasts and a very relaxing place to visit. |
