We have a 2400 ft2 home, with three bedrooms, 3 bath or shower rooms, 1/4 acre plot, kitchen, utility room, study, family room, double garage, etc. Since the previous owners were from Kuwait, the house is fitted out in quarry tiles and wooden floors, cool middle-Eastern styles, exposed brick and wood, open fireplace, etc.

We also have a vacation home in Orlando, Florida, which is ideal for non-simultaneous exchanges, perhaps with other vacation homes.

We are John & Liz, both in our mid 50s, running our own companies - a residential development consultancy and an IT training company respectively. Although long-term residents of Milton Keynes, we are both originally from Scotland.

We have two children, our son Jamie who has left home now and our daughter Kirsty, a student who spent 2009-10 studying in the USA at the University of Oregon and will be studying for a second degree at the University of Wyoming from fall 2011..
