Our property is a 4 bedroom detached house in the rural village of Hughenden Valley in the south-east of England, just 3 miles from the local town of High Wycombe. The house is just a five-minute walk to the National Trust fields and woodland areas that surround it, which are perfect for walkers. We have a snug living room area with satellite television and a log burning fire. There is a modern kitchen, opening into a family room/ dining area. A further small room at the front of the house serves as a playroom/ den, which could be used as an extra bedroom. Upstairs, there is a master bedroom, a second room with a double bed and one with a single bed. There is also the spare box room that has a single bed. At the back of the house is a big garden with area for seating, a barbeque and a trampoline. We do have a cat and a dog, however the dog will not be here during your stay but the cat would appreciate some food and a bit of love.
Our house is an ideal location for those wishing to visit some of the UK’s top attractions. We are around 40 minutes from one of the UK’s biggest theme parks, Thorpe Park, and around 40 minutes from Legoland. Travel into London is easy as we are only around an hour journey into central London, by car or train. We are also just 20 miles to the historic town of Windsor, with the famous Windsor Castle. High Wycombe has two cinemas, a bowling alley and many shops and restaurants to suit everybody. It is accessible with only a ten-minute bus or car journey. Our local train station is in High Wycombe and offers travel to all over the country and would be ideal for travelling to London. For those interested in Shakespeare, his birthplace Stratford-upon-Avon is an easy hours journey away and makes a good day out for the family with museums and attractions based around him and his life. We are also within an easy driving to many historical attractions such as Warwick Castle.
