We are a young, well travelled and cultured couple with outgoing and warm personalities. We work as an editor and a researcher in the London and Cambridge area. We are reliable, honest and very respectful. Our interests lie in travel (of course), languages, film, theatre, art, literature, music, cuisine and outdoor activities like hiking, biking etc.
We live right in the middle of Cambridge on a quiet, terraced street with lines of classic Victorian terrace houses. We are just off Cambridge's most multi-cultural area - Mill Road, where you can find anything from a Brazilian cafe to an Algerian restaurant to rare book shops, antique sellers and beautiful traditional English pubs. We are also not far from the stunning shifting sands of the Norfolk and Suffolk coastline, Constable country and Lavenham, one of the few remaining examples of a genuine Tudor town in the UK.
Our house is a classic Victorian terrace house based right in the centre of the golden spires of historic Cambridge. It retains its original features - Victorian stove, wooden floors and open fire places and is cosy, colourful and characterful. It is based 5 minutes walk from the train station, the beautiful river Cam, the famous Kings College and a world of fascinating cultural, historical and academic buildings, events and monuments.
