Ours is a pleasant house in a friendly neighbourhood with views to the sea from the front door. Brighton, with its famous Pavilion, Palace Pier and Aquarium is a historic town with an arty vibe and beautiful quaint shopping areas , beaches and parks and is a 10 minute drive away. London, The Original Hundred Acre Wood, Fishbourne Roman Villa, Chessington World of Adventures, Hastings, many castles, zoos and even France and Belgium are all an easy day trip away. If you like the countryside the new South Downs National Park is on our doorstep - just walk 3 roads away and you're in the hills. Breath taking views!
Our house has two single bedrooms, one double and one with a double bunk below and a single above. Spacious bathroom with corner bath and separate shower plus another small toilet / shower room. Kitchen, lounge, long sunroom/dining room. The house is semi detached and was built during World War 2 by German prisoners of war! We have a small but fun garden with decking area, lawn area, rockery, a kids playhouse, large trampoline and teens' 'clubhouse'. My son is also happy for you to use his pride and joy - a 'hippy caravan' painted as a forest, on the front driveway, makes for a great hangout for the kids or good guest accommodation for a night or two. :o) We have wifi broadband internet connection, wide screen TV with huge selection of recordable channels, keyboard, washing machine, X Box 360 and Playstation 2. Happy to carswap - we have a 3 year old 7 seater minivan with air con. However, public transport is really frequent and pleasant and used by most families so it is not necessary to drive. Brighton is a very eco-minded town. Brighton's one of England's sunniest towns so please excuse the igloo picture - it was the best shot of the house. Not all of those children are mine! :o) Please contact as soon as possible if you are interested. Thanks :o) |
