Phuket is a wonderful place to spend a vacation: as newspaper ads say: "Phuket is Asia's answer to Cannes". Like Cannes, it has spectacular beaches, wonderful weather, very nice real estate, great food. Villa "La Dolce Vita" is located in Rawai, one of the nicer parts of Phuket Island, on the quiet south end of the island. It is not very densely populated and yet has great beaches, lots of international restaurants, and many international people living there. This house is located near Sai Yuan Rd. on an off-road with large houses and properties, at the end of a dead-end street. There is hardly any traffic at all during sleeping hours. At other times the main noises here are the birds. On the main street 500 m. away, you find many restaurants, breakfast cafes and shops on the way to Nai Harn Beach (5 minutes away). For those who love watersports, the area offers world class sailing, surfing and scuba diving. And for golfers, Phuket has 6 internationally renowned golf courses all within 30 minutes drive! (Rent a scooter locally for 3 € / $4 per day.)

The house is available April-November each year.

Villa la Dolce Vita can be rented long-term or short-term. It has two bedrooms (firm, king-sized beds), a living room, and a TV room with a fold-out sofa: sleeping room for six people. The house is built in a "U" shape, with a fish pond in the middle, just outside the sliding glass door of three of the main rooms. Large kitchen with stove, microwave, big refrigerator/freezer, lots of storage space. Two full bathrooms, and an extra toilet next to the TV room. The TV is connected to a satellite that brings in many international stations, although the Internet connection is quite fast and can pull in many streaming videos online. There is air conditioning in both bedrooms and the TV room, although it is not really needed, as the wind is nearly always blowing, and one tends to live outdoors in Thailand. There is a safe for your passport and wallet. The back yard, as well as around the fish pond, has lots of color with bougainvillia flowers. There is a barbecue in the back yard for your grilling parties. A fence shelters the back yard from the view of neighbors. The property is maintained every two weeks by a gardener and a maid. If more maid time is required, we can refer you to someone.
