I’ve got a huge apartment in Syria, about 20 km from Damascus, in a little town called Qatana. The apartment is about 200 sqrm big: it has a large living room, three bedrooms, a kitchen, a bathroom, and a 500 sqrm garden. The apartment is cozy and fully equipped. The apartment is situated in a three-storey building. The other two apartments are also free. They belong to brothers of mine who work abroad.

The kitchen is equipped with a gas stove, fridge, and all necessary kitchen wear. The living room is air conditioned. A satellite TV is also available. You can receive more than 1000 stations from all over the world.

The garden is green. It’s a wonderful place to sit and have breakfast or dinner. You can also barbecue.

The apartment offers good and comfortable living conditions for 3-4 people. For more people extra mattresses are available.

You can do your shopping in Qatana or Damascus.

If you rent a car, which is usually cheap ($ 20 aday), you can reach all the sights of Syria, also called the cradle of civilizations. Syria is full of sights from the Greek and Roman civilization. It’s also replete with sights from before Christ. The Greek, Roman, and Arabic alphabets were created in Syria. In Ma’lula, for instance, a town about 30 km from Qatana, there are people who still speak Aramaic, the language which Christ used to speak. The farthest sight is about 300 km from Qatana.

If you’re interested in history, archaeology, and anthropology, it’s worth it to visit Syria. The whole country is really safe.

I offer using the house for 2-3 weeks for free. Sisters of mine live in vicinity and from them you can collect the key for the apartment.
