Beautiful one bedroom apartment in the absolute center of Stockholm.

Exchange dates:
20 august 2008 until 3 sepetember 2008 (that’s how long we want to stay in NY, but if you want to it is ok stay on shorter or longer or other dates in Stockholm.)

Description of the apartment:
40 sqm, consists of two large rooms with high ceilings, parquet floors, and large windows with a park view. The apartment was completely renovated 2007 with a brand new kitchen and bathroom with bathtub. The building is from 1913.

The bed is 105 cm. (But there is plenty of space so if you need we can put in 1 - 2 extra beds for friends etc.)

Facilities:
Kitchen: Freezer, Fridge, Oven (gas/electric), Coffeperculator, Electric kettle, Toaster.

TV/cable, Highspeed internet.

Our neighborhood
The apartment is in the corner building at Olof Palmes gata/Drottninggatan (the major shopping street in the city area, but on the older and quieter part of it.)

It takes just 2 minutes to walk the nearest subway (tunnelbana) station T-Hötorget (Haymarket). Or 5 minutes to the Central station and Airport coaches. There are lots of nice shops and restaurants in the area. The surroundings are beautiful and includes the romantic Art noveau Centralbadets park just across the street. Stockholm is a lovely place with lots of water, parks and historic places, Venice of the north some call it. And you can go for a swim in the middle of the city if you like (the water will be warm in august!).
