The apartment is beside the Segovia Bridge, in a building of just two apartments, ours and yours, each with its own roof-garden. The patio is just off the living room, with table and chairs, or if you prefer, the roof-garden is just upstairs and is for your private use. It has everything you need to help you recover from a hard day's sightseeing, hammocks included.

More Home Exchange Info:
Destination wanted:
Preferably Brighton, England, in August, but we're open to suggestions.
Additional information:
The neighborhood, El Puente de Segovia, or The Segovia Bridge, is within easy walking distance of the Plaza Mayor, the Royal Palace and the Almudena Cathedral, or 10 minutes by bus, if you prefer. It’s beside the Casa de Campo, originally the royal hunting grounds, now the city’s largest public park, and also boasts the church of San Antonio de la Florida, whose ceilings are the work of the Golden Age master, Francisco de Goya.
Today, the area is also well known as part of Madrid Rio, the city’s new leisure project, some 15 kilometers of riverside walks and parks with a wide range of activities for children and adults.
Though just 10 minutes from the centre, with excellent bus and metro links, this is in fact a typical Madrid “barrio”, with its busy market, its small shops, bars and restaurants, and its own local flavour. There are wonderful little places for everything from tapas to a full meal, all at great prices and with friendly service.
About Home Exchange Owners :
Tom, a language teacher originally from Ireland, has lived in Madrid for more than 25 years. He’s an art-lover who can recommend not only the latest exhibitions or the less famous galleries, but the best place for tapas, restaurants or a decent wine.
Agnès, an editor of french language text-books, is also a shiatsu and reflexology therapist.
We look forward to making your stay in Madrid an unforgettable experience
