My husband and I are a young American couple with a cozy 2 bedroom apartment in central Madrid. It is near the Atocha train station and Paseo del Prado. So, of course, it's a short trot to all public transport, shops, major museums, restaurants and nightlife.
It's on the fourth floor, with an elevator. It has a large living/dining room, full kitchen, one full bathroom and two bedrooms (one with a full size bed, the other with a twin). There is also a sofa thing that's about the size of a twin bed. (So it could sleep up to four people, but two people would probably be more comfortable). It's well decorated and fully furnished and equipped.
The swap will of course include all amenities including TV and Internet. There is one condition. You must be prepared to look after our two well-behaved cats while you are here. We would be happy to do the same for your cats or dogs.
We are looking to travel during Winter break for a week or so. The vacation time is long here in Spain, so we are flexible on the exact dates. It would be just the two of us traveling. Ideally, we'd love to visit Amsterdam, but we'd also consider other European cities. Keep in mind that we don't have a car, so we're looking for any attractive locales for people who rely on public transport!
