Exchange Zones

We live in a two storey house (200 square meters) 10 years old. It is located in a plot of 800 sq. meters. In the ground floor there is a large dining and living room, kitchen, bathroom and a study room. In the first floor there are four bedrooms, two bathrooms and a large studio. One of the bedrooms has a double bed, two have single beds and the fourth one has two folded single beds that can be used if needed.

There are all the usual domestic appliances: microwave oven, dishwasher, washing machine, dryer, television, video recorder, satellite receiver, hi-fi stereo, etc. There is air conditioning in the dining room and in the studio.

There is a garden and two terraces facing East and West, so you always find a pleasant place to stay either if you want sun or not. In the plot there is also a private swimming pool (4 x 8 meters).

We have several bicycles of different sizes at your disposal, so they can fit nearly any need. We would also like to have bicycles available for us during our stay in your house, if at all possible.

THE SURROUNDINGS:

Our house is in a residential area called "La Cañada" which belongs to the municipality of Paterna. La Cañada has 10.000 inhabitants and is located 10 Km NorthWest from Valencia. You can find shops and basic services at walking distance from the house. The neighbourhood is quiet and surrounded by trees.

From our house you can go to the center of Valencia by car in 20 minutes. The train station is at 1,200 m. There is a train every 40 minutes and it takes 20 min. to get to the center of Valencia. The train itself is part of the metro network, so you can reach many parts of Valencia and surroundings very easily with the train and the same ticket. We are also offering a car exchange to facilitate displacements during your/our holidays.

In Valencia you find all the normal attractions of any big city. Specially relevant are the large historical center, fine arts museums (classical and modern), ceramics museum, science museum (especially interesting for children), big aquarium, new opera house, etc.

There are plenty of beaches in the area that you can reach by car in 30 minutes or so. If you like diversity and don't mind to drive longer you can visit some of the most famous beaches in Spain: Denia and Javea are at 90 min, Benidorm can be reached in two hours.
