Cozy and quiet apartment with bright colored walls and dark red wood floors. Retro modern furnished living with ensuite kitchen hidden behind two large sliding wood panels. Very suitable for a couple (plus friend-son).
We have a main bedroom with TV, a bright and airy studio, a comfortable living-dining room with one bed which could be moved to the studio. There are cd players in every room and we have many local music recordings and specialized books (local sights, arts, architecture, etc).
The apartment is in a low-rise building located in a quiet cul-de-sac.
El Putget (little hill in catalan) is a residential area topped by a large park with sparkling panorama. We are also close to Parc Güell, internationally renowned Gaudi's Art Nouveau's masterpiece. The area is very quiet, away from the hustle and bustle of Eixample. Other nearby amenities are La Creueta del Coll Parc, an old quarry dramatically redesigned as a big open air swimming pool, and historic Parc del Laberint d’Horta, a fairy tale garden with its own vegetal labyrinth and setting for classical and jazz music summer concerts.
Downhill is lively Gracia (15 min walk), Barcelona's bohemian quarter and a nice place to dinner. Local subway (5 min walk) takes you to elegant Paseo de Gracia, Catalonia Square City center, or historic Gothic Quarter (line 2, 3-4-5 stops, 10-15 min).
