Home in Samoa available for trade for 1 month - Mid October to Mid November, some flexibility with dates. Other opportunities also considered for later dates.
Home is 3 br 1 bath about 10 minutes from the main town of Apia, in the cool hills of Vaoala. The house is surrounded by orchids, roses an tropical flowers and overlooks a canyon, with birds and waterfalls the only thing you can hear. The house is secure and fully functional, furnished, hardwood and tile floors, fans but no AC.
The trip we are planning for right now takes place in fall 2012 but other swaps from late 2012 onward are also welcome. My wife and I will be in California for about a month visiting family (I'm from Santa Barbara), we'll be in SB for the month except for a few days in Yosemite. The dates are not yet set in stone bu we will need to be in California by the 18th, we could come earlier or leave later.
We are looking for a home anywhere in Santa Barbara or Goleta, at least 2br, preferably in a quite location. We have a dog and a cat at our house (out doors) and would be happy to care for your pets if you have any.

And beyond the beaches out into the blue lagoons are scattered the rest of the islands that make up the Samoa archipelago, some inhabited, others with only natures wildlife, protected by the fringing coral reef that keep the powerful force of the Pacific Ocean at bay.

And amongst all this natural beauty and picturesque valleys and coastline you will find nu'u or villages with their churches, meeting houses and open fale or homes encircling the malae or village green.

Home to people proud of their strong Fa'a Samoa - cultural heritage, that live along side these natural wonders.
