Krakow is with no doubt one of the most beautiful and worthwhile places to visit in Europe.
My flat is located in the nearest neighborhood of the old city centre 6 minutes walk from the Main Market Square (which is considered to be the most beautiful, and for sure the biggest Market in Europe). The walking distance to the Railway is 15-20 minutes and about 20 minutes to the famous old Jewish Quarter. Very convenient connection to the Airport; takes half an hour by the bus and the bus-stop is just outside the flat, or by airport express rail. A large park just nearby. A wireless internet signal in the house is perect to check your e-mail box or weather on sites, but too weak for, for example, films or games.
When agreed I can leave bikes or/and car at your disposal, that makes it easy to get to the nearby area (approx.100km) of the Tatry Mountains with Zakopane city, or countryside excursions. Or even to Czech or Slovakian Tatrian lovely small villages, with beautiful views, which are also famous of their high quality and wonderfully tasty bear :-).
In Krakow itself you will find a remarkable amount of Museums, Galleries, architectural historical (such as i.e. Wawel Castle, which is a Renaissance pearl of Europe), cultural events such as, theatres, festivals, concerts, exhibitions in the Main Market. Nightlife is buzzing in the many atmospheric cafes, clubs and pubs with life music of every sort; among others there's some very good Jazz (cheap drinks don't need mentioning :) City Bus Tour and visit to Wielczka salt mine are highly recommended.
Some photos of the appartment will be attached very soon!
