The house built (mid 70's )of natural timbers and cedar is of 4 bedrooms; Two of the Double bedrooms have an ensuite ( WC & Shower ) and king size beds, the other two upstairs bedrooms each have 2 single beds and a shared bathroom. ( WC & Shower over bath )
The Home also has two lounges plus decks and BarBQ area.
"WILDLIFE & NIGHT SKY"
Native birds inhabit the bush and you can hear the kiwi at night.
Also at night you can watch the Satellites going overhead in a fabulous southern hemisphere star studded sky which of course includes the spectacular Southern Cross.
"OUR VILLAGE"
Russell is a quaint quiet village, and was the first capital of New Zealand and one of the first European settlements. Originally known as “The Hell Hole of the Pacific” the town is rich in history with a variety of shops cafes and restaurants that do not spoil the old charm. Hours can be spent in the museum tracing the towns history from the first European settlers, whaling and marine history. Even the headstones at New Zealand's first church have a story to tell. The old charm, history, modern facilities and access to many attractions make it the perfect base for a romantic stay, family holiday or base to explore the upper north island. with regular car Ferry services to the mainland and Passenger ferries operate continuously to the tourist town of Paihia where additional shops and attractions can be found.
"CLOSEST CITY & LARGE TOWN"
The City of Whangarei is a 45 minute drive South and KeriKeri is but 25 minutes drive north.

We are interested in visiting a large variety of countries and any/all opportunities considered.
A vehicle exchange is also on offer. We are both non smokers and would not want any smoking in the house nor do we have any pets.
We would treat your house with the greatest respect and care and would expect you to do likewise.
If you are interested in visiting New Zealand we would love to hear from you. We are experienced Exchangees -
