A beautiful and spacious (over 1700 square feet) apartment located in the old center of Gouda, situated in a residents-only (gated) enclosure. It is situated on the 3rd floor with elevator.
The apartment offers a large kitchen with all appliances, a luxurious bathroom with jacuzzi and a 4 person steam/sauna.
There is another smaller bathroom with shower.
The apartment consists of a large kitchen and lounge area, 2 bedrooms, 1,5 bathrooms and a area that is currently used as home office. There are several small "loft" areas that can accommodate 6 persons for a sleep over. One of the lofts holds a tanning bed.
There are 2 balcony's. A small one in the back facing the east and a large one in the front facing south-west. The latter balcony can be used as bbq area.

The enclosure holds a full-sized swimming pool that is at the disposal of residents and their guests. It also sports some fitness equipment (rowing, running, bike).

The neighbors are a mix of expats (mostly from Ireland) and home owners. There is a easy going atmosphere.

Gouda has a lot of contemporary shops and restaurants, all located within walking distance (less than 5 minutes). There are galleries and a wonderful museum. The city of Gouda is famous for its cheese, candles and old (medieval) town center. It boasts the largest church in The Netherlands with world famous stained windows dating back to the 16th century.

A family car (automatic gearbox) is available. Parking space is guaranteed within the enclosure.

Gouda is ideally located for trips to major cities in Holland and Belgium. But Germany and Paris are also only a few hours drive away.
Rotterdam is a 20 minute drive, Amsterdam is a 45 minute drive, Utrecht 20 minutes and The Hague 30.
Antwerp (Belgium) takes 2,5 hours by car and Paris (France) only 3,5.
