Exchange Zones

We are seeking a 4 week exchange in April/May/June 2011 in TEL AVIV!!
The best time of the year to explore all of Amsterdam!


Our fully furnished apartment is on the 6th floor of a 7-story building with windows facing both east and west, which means views on both the sunrise from the office, and sunset from our living room, bedroom and balcony. It is a 4-room apartment, but the small bedroom will function as a storage space for our things.


This leaves you with the main hall, kitchen, individual toilet and shower rooms, and an office next to the living room, separated by a closable glass partition.
This office space can easily be made into a bedroom with one or two single beds (available). From the living room you can access the master bedroom, which leads to the balcony. The entire flat has wood flooring. Linens and towels are included. We have wireless (glass fiber) internet, stereo, TV and DVD player available. There is a washing machine but no dryer; we use racks for air-drying our laundry. The kitchen is fully equipped with cooking pans and implements, and includes a fridge, freezer, stove, microwave and oven.

Within a couple hundred meters from our location you can find a large lake (Sloterplas), 6km in circumference and surrounded by parks: a great place to workout (e.g. jogging, skating and cycling). The shopping area below the flat will accommodate you in your groceries (regular as well as biological), sundries, a pharmacy, fashion, electronics, a couple cafes and snack bars, bakeries, vegetable stores, a fish market and butchers (halal). Nearby public transit takes you to the center of Amsterdam in 20 minutes, but on the way you can already find great restaurants, bars and places of interest. Biking is of course also a great way to get around, and will take you about the same time to reach the city center. Also, the extensive Amsterdam forest is within 40 minutes by bike.
