10 reasons why one shouldn't like this apartment

1. I hate privacy!
2. I prefer noisy neighbors and a curfew
3. I don't like to feel/shop/eat/wonder/ponder like a local
4. I prefer the atmosphere of a hotel lobby over a downtown pub
5. I get the creeps of tall windows and lots of daylight
6. with a flat-screen and dvd player, i have a hard time leaving the house
7. fire places make me sneeze
8. I am fundamentally against wifi
9. (art)books and a mix of vintage and design furniture make me itchy
10. a hot shower doesn't do it for me, i need my morning bath*

* there is a swimming pool with whirlpool and steam bath 5 minutes by bike

You're still interested? Great! A bike plus city map are waiting for you at the second floor (38 steps) of a cute 65 sq mtr. one-bedroom apartment in one of Amsterdam's most vibrant and popular districts, De Pijp (Oud_Zuid).
Just a 5 minutes walk from the famous Albert Cuyp market to do your shopping, or use the convenience store AH around the corner, open 6 days a week till 22-hr, and cook your own food. Bio-organic shops are close as well. But be warned, it will be hard to resist the many cafes and restaurants dotted around. Alone in this street are already two cosy cafe with a small but tasty menu, and one high quality French mediterranean restaurant.
Transport = easy, even if you're a non-biker. There is a tram stop just 3 minutes walk, station RAI (train) is three stops and the highway (Ring A10) is one long street away.
