We live in a small village in South Mayo which is in mid-west Ireland, about 45 minutes drive from Galway city and an hour from the west coast (westport etc) and are a good base for exploring the beautiful west coast and connemara area. We are also just a 10 minute drive from our nearest town which has all necessary amenities (schools, shops,leisure centre, pubs, restaurants etc) and 25 minutes from the nearest airport (knock). The house itself is a 3 bedroom semi-detached in an estate of 18 houses built in 2006
