The center of Paris is far from 15 km and the needed time to go by train is between 30-40 mn. We leave 200 meters near a forest, we are 10 mn by car near Parc & Chateau de Sceaux, with a very pleasant outdoor swimming pool. We are also 30 mn by car from Chateau de Versailles.
In addition of Paris and Versailles, we can advise you some very nice places to visit in the Chevreuse Vallée : Chateau de Breteuil, de Vicomte, de Courances, Parc de Sceaux.
Possible other visits are Fontainebleau, its castle and a very nice artist village called Barbizon.
