House for swap is not in Wales (as per my telephone number). Its my home in Charras dept 16 Charente France,
Converted barn and stables overlooking the Perigord Vert. Separate barn / garage included. Very old building in historic forest village. NEW conversion to a high standard. Original beamed ceilings. Cathedral hallway. Oak handmade kitchen, stars etc. Handmade local oak dining table seats up to 10 in beamed dining room. Nice size garden with panoramic views over the Parc Natural. Typical French Charentise stone house with a lot of character. Nearby you Have Cognac, Brantome, Villebois- in fact a host of very pretty towns and a few cities such as Bordeaux. A good place to visit the various caves with their Neanderthal and Cro Magnon paintings. We are right on the Dordogne border, but in Charente.

Small village 10 miles south east of Angouleme. Boulangerie, local shop, bar restaurant. Fab French village in a forest but not isolated.
House has 3 bedrooms, 2 doubles, one en-suite shower + wash basin and vanity unit, 3rd bedroom has twin bunk beds. Separate bathroom, utility room with washing machine and second toilet. Large lounge with wood-burner, good kitchen with large oven and hob (range size) Hand built wood breakfast bar and bespoke wood units. Large dining room with local made oak table seating 10 or more.

Couple in youthful 60's. Jane retired civil servant- worked for the International branch of the Welsh Government. Chris semi retired businessman. We like to socialise and travel. We live in Wales and France.
