Everything you could need is right down the block; a theater, a pharmacy, grocery store, pizza place, bars and restaurants, a liquor store, cute little cafés and design clothing strores. My favorite coffee shop is only one block away, and it serves the best smoothies in town. One of Helsinki's biggest parks Kaivopuisto is just around the corner. It is famous for it's hilly landscape and it's the ideal place for a picnic. Just a few blocks away is a design museum and other places of interest. Within a short tram ride away there's Kauppatori, one of Helsinki's most popular market places, where you can also catch a ferry to Suomenlinna - the ancient castle of Helsinki full of history and beautiful scenery. Cruises to Stockholm, the breathtaking capital of Sweden, leave from the shore that is less than a ten minute walk away from the flat. Although this is a happening neighborhood, the apartment has a window facing to the opposite side of the street. That makes this home a peaceful place to spend your vacation.
