OUR HOME:
Our house is an attached home of 130 square meters with a very spacious & private back yard. The house is from 1966 & has been fully refurbished & remodelled. We have 3 bedrooms & 1 full bathroom. The living & dining area opens up to the brand new kitchen. Everything is on one level.

LOCATION:
We live in the lovely coastal town of Humlebæk, about 30 kilometers north of Copenhagen & 10 kilometers miles south of Helsingør (Elsinore). Humlebæk is home to the beautifully situated art museum of Louisiana. From our home, it is a 5 minute walk to the picturesque Sletten harbor & beach & 10 minute walk to the train station. Copenhagen can be reached in half an hour by train. The train runs every 20 minutes. Helsingør is only 10 minutes by train & is an interesting town to visit, not least the "Hamlet" castle of Kronborg. From Helsingør there are ferries for the short crossing to Sweden & likewise fun town of Helsingborg.

AIRPORT TRANSPORTATION:
The train from the airport runs every 20 minutes & directly to our town, taking 50 minutes.

About Home Exchange Owners :

We are a Danish-American couple with a girl aged 3 & a baby boy. She works as a project manager with a brewery. He works as a communications consultant with a food ingredients company.

We love experiences that bring us close to the culture of the country we are visitng. We enjoy big cities for a few days, but prefer the mountains or countryside for longer visits.
