The apartment is on the ground floor (89 m2), and has a small terrace - perfect for barbequing if the weather allows. The apartment lies right next to a huge park so you won’t see any buildings when you look out the window. The building is designed by a famous Danish artist, Bjoern Noergaard, and has won many prices for its architecture. What makes the building special is that there are almost no 90 degree angles and that the roof is formed as a wave (and made of cobber). So staying here for a holiday will be a nice experience in its self.
The apartment is situated a 10 min. drive from the center of Copenhagen and going there by bike will not take you more than 20 min (you can off cause borrow our bikes incl. seats for children if necessary). Public transport takes you easy to the center of town in 20 min. The area is perfect for families with children as there are green areas right outside the door and several playgrounds within the distance of a 5 min walk (with a child).
So if you have a small family and want to combine Copenhagen’s many cultural possibilities with the possibilities of a very children friendly area, then this is a good place for your holiday.
