Our small house is placed just outside the inner city, an is located on a quite street, just 3 min. walk to the nearest grocery store (Vejgaard centrum), and 3 min. walk to the nearest public transportation. It's the prefect place if you want to be close to the city, and still enjoy the privacy. The house is from 1900 an very cozy, with a lot og small windows. Most of the house is nicely renovated, but the Bath og kitchen is a little old, but it works pefect.
Aalborg is theatre, music, opera and is also the venue for one of Europe's biggest carnivals (in May). It's the city of Danish snaps, as well as being a paradise for nighthawks with more than 300 restaurants, pubs, etc. - almost one for every day of the year! Aalborg also boasts museums, art galleries and historic quarters. Shopping ranges from small specialist shops to huge supermarkets. You can encounter Viking history at first hand on the hills sloping down to the Limfjord, where Viking warriors once set off for England. (sorry England!!) Not to forget Aalborg Zoo. And a lot more...
