Nelson, BC Canada has a population of 10,000 and is located 2 1/2 hours north of Spokane Washington. Nelson is known as the Heritage Capital of BC's Interior with 350 heritage buildings. It is 15 minutes from Whitewater Ski Resort with an average snowfall of 40'. It is 30 minutes away from Ainsworth Hotsprings with spectacular lake and mountain views from a mineral pool and steam bath hot springs cave. Nelson is also known as an Arts Community with many local artists and a community theatre. Our home is located in the City on the North shore of Kootenay Lake. We enjoy lake views from every room. Car exchange possible.
