WE LIVE IN AN ORIGINAL BEACH COTTAGE PERCHED AT THE TOP OF QUEENSCLIFF HEADLAND OVERLOOKING FRESHWATER AND MANLY BEACHES.

THE HOME IS HERITAGE LISTED AND HAS ALL THE UNIQUE FEATURES OF AN ORIGINAL BEACH/FISHING COTTAGE. THE COTTAGE HAS ONE BEDROOM, A LARGE LOUNGE ROOM, COMBINED DINING AND KITCHEN AND AN OFFICE.

THERE IS A FRONT PORCH WITH LOUNGES SURROUNDED BY A PRIVATE GARDEN. AT THE REAR OF THE COTTAGE IS THE BATHROOM AND A LOVELY GARDEN WITH AN OUTDOOR SEATING AREA AND BBQ.
AND VIEWS OF THE OCEAN, WATCH THE SUNRISE EACH MORING OVER THE WATER,

THE COTTAGE IS LITERALLY 10 SECONDS WALK TO THE BEACH IT OVERLOOKS AND IS ONLY MINUTES WALK TO MANLY AND THE MANLY FERRY WHICH TAKES YOU DIRECTLY TO SYDNEY'S CBD.

WE ARE ART LOVERS AND THE HOUSE IS FULL OF MODERN CONTEMPORARY ART PEICES, IN ADDITION THERE IS AN EXTENSIVE MUSIC LIBRARY ALONG WITH A DVD LIBRARY AND PLENTY OF BOOKS FROM ALL GENRES.

WE HAVE CABLE TV, SURROUND SOUND THEATRE, HIGH SPEED INTERNET, PLASMA TV AND ALL THE MODERN CONS WHICH WOULD MAKE THIS A COMFORTABLE AND MEMORABLE STAY.

THERE IS A FINE DINING RESTAURANT AND AN ART GALLERY NEXT DOOR. SO IF YOU FEEL LIKE SOMETHING TO EAT CLOSE TO HOME ITS JUST A STONES THROW AWAY.

The Neighborhood
Situated seven miles north-east of Sydney on the lower Northern Beaches, Manly was named by Captain Arthur Phillip after his encounter with the confident and manly Aboriginal people of the Kay-ye-my clan who lived here. Surrounded on three sides by water, Manly is the perfect destination to enjoy both the habour and the 18 ocean beaches, coves and inlets to swim, sail and surf. But as the locals know, Manly is more than Sydney's premier beach resort. Come by sea or road and take some time to discover its rich heritage and culture, its great shopping, dining and family attractions - it's well worth the trip.

Manly Beach is one of the finest beaches in the Sydney area. It’s considered to be the jewel of the north shore beaches by many people, locals as well as tourists. Manly is located on a narrow peninsula, surrounded on three sides by water, it offers both harbour and ocean beaches. Few cities in the world can boast the pristine waterfronts and paradisiacal climate that Sydney offers.

Manly is a wonderful blend of casual and trendy tastes. It remains the more easygoing of the beaches that line the north coast. Here you will find a mix of young and old roaming the famous pedestrian walk known as ‘the corso.’ This plaza offers shopping and a large variety of places to eat and drink. On weekends and public holidays an outdoor Arts and Craft Market is held in Sydney Road close to the corso. Visitors will find an abundance of hand-crafted items here.
