Hi, We are a British/Aussie family of four living in Perth, Western Australia with a 4 year old boy and an 18 month old girl. We are visiting relatives from late Nov 09 to 7 Jan 10 in London. We are very domestic and love animals. This is our first attempt at a house swap and are looking forward to a great experience. Our house is a good size, with a great, big, garden for kids, a veggie patch and a trampoline. The house is less than 5 mins walk to shops and cafe, open 7 days a week. We are about 15/20 mins from the Coast and Fremantle, and 10/15 mins from Perth City. Summer temps invariably get to about 35C at Christmas, and mid to late 20s through December. We are very well placed to the Freeway to get to Margaret River and the amazing beaches and wineries on offer there. We have a brand new Peugeot 308 'Touring' 7 seater as part of the swap, which will take you wherever you want to go with ease. Also, just in case you like vintage cars, my father-in-law would be happy to show you his Aston(s)! this is the hard sell! Perth is truly the Aussie experience - with miles and miles of white sand beaches, and hardly a raindrop between Dec and Feb.
