The apartment is in a 1920's terrace house, upstairs on 2nd floor. 2nd bedroom is downstairs in rear of house. Outside access to laundry. Very sunny, with a north, east and west exposure. (In the southern hemisphere, this means SUNNY!). Big, gorgeous, wooden terrace overlooking boulevard and trees next to the Yarra River. Great for champagne under the starry sky or cup of tea and newspaper in the morning. Wooden floor, open-fire place, huge front window for lots of light.

Quiet neighbourhood despite it's inner-city suburban location. Less than 5 minutes walk from tram, and not far from train/bus stations. 10 mins walk to local saturday food markets, and supermarkets (mainstream and organic). On tram-line to city, so all Melbourne's attractions are easily accessible - Federation Square, Royal Botanical Gardens, Arts Centre, etc. Fantastic position. We have a big closed (kayak) canoe for use on the river for two strong people to carry. One adult bike and one children's bike.
