Posada la Gordita is a traditional Bed and Breakfast house in the central district of Zaragoza Leon, Nicaragua. Posada la Gordita is traditional Nicaraguan home located near all the best places in Leon. It offers very clean and spacious private rooms with private and/or shared bathrooms and breakfast is included!! We offer nightly and weekly rates.
All linens and towels are provided and housekeeping cleans the whole house twice a day to create a very homelike experience for our tired travelers. The house has a casual home-like atmosphere with a formal dining room, living room and outside porch. We offer the use of the fridge for your water, ice and purchases from the market. There is coffee available all day and WIFI free of charge.
The owner is Monica Pacheco, a expat from Canada, who was born in Guatemala, raised in Canada and moved to Nicaragua less then a year ago after falling inlove with the place. She loves Leon and can take you to off the path places to try some of the best local cuisine, go to the local festivals or just let you in on the best kept secrets of Leon.
