Casa "Muñoz" is a colonial house built in 1800 that has retained its original style and antique furniture (featured in National Geographic magazine October 1999, page 102)
Located in the center of Trinidad, all the main sites ( Plaza Mayor, museums, tourist sights, bank, bus station, travel agencies , etc) are no more than a convenient 3 minutes walk away. Casa "Muñoz" is situated on the corner of the block with tall windows facing in 3 directions, so you can enjoy cooling breezes together with excellent natural light for those interested in photography and painting. After your activities you can relax in this lovely family home, in the courtyard with garden or on the roof terrace with a magnificent view of the town and surrounding mountains. National and international Phone/Fax service. Enjoy a home cooking in a friendly atmosphere. Your car will be safe in a private off-street parking area beside the house. You will stay with the young family of Julio and Rosa Muñoz (who both speak English), their daughters Maria (12) and Carmen (4) , Brandy (German shepherd) the dog and Doris the horse. Julio and Rosa can advise you on what to do and see in Trinidad, as well as providing you with further information and recommendations about the rest of your trip around Cuba. "Casa Muñoz" is the right choice for those interested in Trinidad's culture: its traditions, legends and religions; which are also featured in our slide library and photogallery. Julio is a photographer and can arrange photography workshops and study groups. He is also able to provide beginners with information and advice on request. |
