Use of the Hummer H2 is negotiable.

The villa location is a 3 minute drive to downtown Nelson or, if you prefer, a 15 - 20 min walk. It is also a short 20km drive to the base of White Water Ski Resort with its legendary light and deep powder snow. Or if you prefer cross country skiing, Apex is a 10 minute drive located at the turn off to Whitewater Resort.

Nelson is a very welcoming community built along the shores of the long and very scenic Kootenay Lake, in the heart of the Selkirk Mountains. It is an artsy, friendly and vibrant town with great entertainment and dining options, many festivals & cultural events, great sking at Whitewater Resort as well as boating and fishing on Kootenay Lake. There are many hiking and mountain biking opportunities nearby.

We love Australia, the beautiful water, beaches and friendly people. We wish to be close to the beach and close to ammenities such as shopping and entertainment. For any other locations, close proximity to the nicest beaches is a priority.

My name is Darrell and I am 53 yrs old. I spent 30 years in the Fire Service as a firefighter, Fire Captain, and now work as a Fire Service Advisor for the Provincial Government. My travelling companion is Debby. Deb is 50 yrs young and has spent over 30 years doing computer system projects for a major Railway.
We both have a passion for travel and have spent the last several years in Australia soaking up the sun for 4-6 weeks at a time during our winter months Dec- March. We've also been to the South Pacific, Hawaii, Greece, Mexico, the Caribbean, and SanFrancisco. We have a strong desire to return to Australia regularly, but are open and interested in other islands in the South Pacific, New Zealand, Brazil, South Africa, and Bali, Hawaii and California.
