OUR HOME
We designed and built our home in 2008. Our home has a modern rustic flare with natural wood trim throughout the entire home, natural wood doors, exposed wooden beams in the upstairs living room and a large rustic gas fireplace. It is approximately 3,000 square feet with a 450 square foot semi-covered deck on the front. 4 bedrooms, and 3 full baths. 2 bedrooms upstairs and 2 downstairs. The master bedroom is very spacious with a walk-in closet, his & her vanity, large shower, private toilet room and a large jacuzzi tub. The floor plan is open concept with many windows to allow as much natural light into the home and to allow you to enjoy the beautiful view. The kitchen boasts a large granite island with bar stool seating, stainless appliances such as 5 burner cook top, convection oven, convection microwave, dishwasher, double sink, large fridge and lastly a walk-in pantry. Some of the amenities downstairs are two bedrooms, one full bathroom, laundry room, rec room, and living room. The living room has a 47" flat screen TV, Apple TV and electric fireplace. Wireless internet throughout the entire house too. If you're bringing your kids we have some outside amenities your children or perhaps yourself might enjoy: outside fire pit & bbq where you might like to roast hot dogs or hamburgers, sip on hot chocolate and make s'mores, there is a play fort with a tire swing, 2 slides, rock wall and a covered sand box & great snow sliding hills right in the backyard. Additional perks to our property is that our home and acreage is maintenance free. Come stay here in the winter and you won't have to worry about shovelling that Canadian white stuff. We have property maintenance personal who will be taking care of all snow removal for you :-) Our dog will not be residing at our home while we are gone and we will have our horses boarded at a stable. OUR NEIGHBORHOOD ****20 acres****We don't have neighbours :-) Well we kind of do, but you'll probably never see them and they will probably never see you. We don't live in the middle of no where either! Located close to a main highway route you are always just a short drive to all the amenities you may desire. We do most of our shopping and dinning out, movies and recreation in Enderby, Vernon (30 min drive) or Salmon Arm (15 min drive). Our home is located 5 minutes from the town of Enderby. The view from our home is of the famous "Enderby Cliffs" and the valley below. Enderby is a friendly community with fresh air, crystal clear water and beautiful surroundings. Located on the banks of the Lovely Shuswap River, with the Enderby Cliffs soaring overhead, the little City of Enderby is one of nature's playgrounds. With a downtown ambience reminiscent of earlier days, it offers a wide array of shopping and dining experiences enveloped in a spirit of heritage. Antique shops, the Enderby and District Museum, art & craft galleries and cafes tempt a visitor to linger, and everything is within easy reach. With several farm and market gardens in the area fresh fruit and produce are always available. The Shuswap River, the jewel in Enderby's crown of natural beauty, runs through town, along which one can take a stroll on a quiet path, perhaps catching sight of some wildlife, such as deer or eagles. The surrounding area is a year round paradise for outdoor recreation. Located at the top of the Okanagan Valley, Enderby is the perfect destination for activities such as camping, hiking and ski-doing. Enderby, B.C. is located centrally, approximately 500 km (300 miles) from Calgary, Alberta, Vancouver, B.C., Spokane and Seattle, Washington State. We are located just an hour drive from the Kelowna International Airport. |
