Brentwood Bay country style comfort on a delightful little creek. Sit in the garden or enjoy the back deck with the creek.
We've moved to the country, taking over an older two-bedroom bungalow on a quiet street in Brentwood Bay, a quiet community with a thriving harbour on Saanich Peninsula. We have a ramp to the front door which makes it very accessable. The living area and kitchen are warmed by sylights and the house is comfortable but plain. Master bedroom is compact but a big corner-windowed second bedroom is set up for computer and crafts. The big vegetable garden, raised beds, and front yard native plant garden are pleasant surroundings and the house is framed by big cedars and native vegetation over the little creek at the back for privacy. We are within walking distance of the Brentwood Bay waterfront including the Mill Bay Ferry and restaurants and docks. There are two medium-sized parks and a provincial park with 30 minutes walk as well as a lot of rural, bucolic trails that encircle the little village. Take a circle route through the fields via the Willowway Trail. We're near the airport and the ferry but it is quiet and friendly in Brentwood Bay. Country life involved local wines, cider and gin as well as a myriad of ethnic restaurants and locally produced food.
